Safe Places

Safe Places was made during the Covid-19 pandemic, between Nuremberg and the outskirts of Delft. At the time, keeping distance from other people was the main daily task. Looking for places with no one around stopped being just a precaution and became a need. The only ground that felt safe was where vegetation had taken over, leaving no room for a person to enter.

 

That safety was partly an illusion. But it was the only one available.
