I'm Olga Alexandrova, a portrait photographer based in The Hague.
I work in a genre I call slow portrait — no directions, no staged
moments. I'm interested in catching who you are right now, so that
when you look at the photo, you recognise yourself.
How it works
Before the shoot, we'll figure out together where and what feels right for you — a place you like, and something to wear that feels like you. It doesn't need to be planned in detail — we can talk it through when we're in touch.
I won't ask you to pose or smile. Most people don't enjoy being told what to do in front of a camera, so we just spend some time together, and I take photos along the way. If you usually avoid cameras, that's fine. Most of my clients feel exactly the same.
Personal Portrait Session
A relaxed, 1.5-hour session — at your home, somewhere meaningful to you, or anywhere in The Hague that feels right.
You'll receive 20 photos, retouched and colour-corrected, delivered through an online gallery.
